Michael & Michelle Frost opened MF Construction Inc. on Maui in 2001. The vision from the beginning has been offering great construction services to Maui at a fair and competitive price. MF Construction Inc. is a family and friend operated business, striving for friendly, caring and knowledgeable service, creating an enjoyable process.

Michael Frost
CEO MF Construction Inc.
Michael Frost, a licensed Maui general contractor in the state of Hawaii, is the owner of MF Construction Inc. on Maui. With construction experienced going back 30+ years, Michael has experience with residential & commercial work starting in the mainland USA around 1985 and continuing in Hawaii, from 2002 to present.
As MF Construction Inc’s licensed owner, Michael’s sole responsibilities are to create quotes for customers and to oversee & direct all projects with his team. He is the main customer contact and oversees all jobs, jumping in on the job sites when necessary. He coordinates & schedules the projects for clients to make sure that the job runs smoothly. He does site visits, bids projects for customers, & coordinates remodel jobs on Homes & Condos all over Maui. If you have questions, he is your guy. Michael enjoys spending time with family, traveling when he can, and relaxing with his wife, dog, and cat.
Jake Barnett
Construction Lead at MF Construction Inc.
Jake has been with MF Construction Inc. since 2014. His experience and knowledge of construction started before that, having a father in the construction industry. Then, he worked closely with Michael and previous associates to learn more of the trade and has flourished with his skill.
Jake is the head foreman of our jobs and works hands on at the job sites to bring the vision of the project to reality. He coordinates with Michael, sub-contractors, owners, and other associates to complete all things construction. Jake can be found in the daily operations, completing tasks and managing subs.
Joey McGarry
Construction Lead at MF Construction Inc.
Joey has been with MF Construction Inc. full-time since 2016, but worked for Michael in a previous business before working with MF Construction Inc. His experience and knowledge of construction started in 2008, when he first joined one of Michael’s previous companies, doing design and sales of cabinetry and working part-time for MF Construction Inc.
Joey is a foreman and works hands on at the job sites to bring the vision of the project to reality. He works with Jake, Michael, sub-contractors, and other associates to complete all things construction. Joey can be found in the daily operations, completing tasks and managing subs.
Mark DeRego
Construction Lead at MF Construction Inc.
Mark has been with MF Construction Inc. full-time since 2019, but worked with our sister company since 2014 prior to working with MF Construction Inc. His experience and knowledge of construction started in 2007, when he installed windows, did concrete jobs, and odd jobs here and there. Working with our sister company, Mark also learned about wood working, inventory management, and the importance of working as a team.
Mark is a construction lead, working hands on at the job sites to bring the vision of the project to reality. He works with Jake, Joey, Michael, sub-contractors, and other associates to complete all things construction. Mark brings his prior experience to the job and is a quick, voracious learner of new tasks that he has not done before. He can be found in the daily operations on the job sites, completing tasks and managing subs. He enjoys hunting, being outside, traveling, and spending time with family & his dogs.
